American jazz musician Herb Alpert founded his own perfume company and presented two fragrances: Listen and Listen for Men. Listen by Herb Alpert was launched in 1988 as an opulent scent of white flowers with chypre background.

Top notes: bergamot, neroli, galbanum, peach and melon. Heart: rose, ylang-ylang, tuberose, jasmine, lily of the valley and hyacinth. Base: moss, sandalwood, vetiver and musk.

The fragrance is available in Eau de Toilette and as pure perfume concentrations. The bottle was designed by Pierre Dinand.
