John Varvatos is celebrating 10 years of his successful business with a new fragrance for men. The fragrance is created in collaboration with fragrance licensee Elizabeth Arden Inc.to expand Arden’s offer of products for men.
The new fragrance is actually a version of popular perfume for men John Varvatos, launched in 2004. Varvatos’ latest product, a limited edition eau de toilette is named John Varvatos 10th Anniversary Special Edition. It was created by perfumer of the original edition - Rodrigo Flores-Roux. As the designer says: “I wanted something that felt a little sexier for men”.
John Varvatos 10th Anniversary offers refreshing top notes of chinotto orange, bergamot and Ceylonese cinnamon. A heart is based on the main ingredient - patchouli orpur enhanced with Haitian vetiver roots and black leather. The composition closes with amber, cistus resin, fluid balsams and Tamboti wood.
The glass flacon is very elegant and covered with silver-grey chrome, topped with a very unusual cap with JV inscription on the top. The flacon is also decorated with a tag with John Varvatos 10-year logo on the neck of the flacon. The fragrance arrives on the market as 4.2 oz.(125ml ) EDT from October 2010.
