About Parfumelle

Are Parfumelle's fragrances authentic?

Yes. Every fragrance we sell is genuine and listed in new condition. We carry authentic designer and niche fragrances, from houses like Chanel and Hermès to specialist niche lines, never imitations or "inspired-by" copies.

What does Parfumelle sell?

A broad, deep catalogue of authentic designer and niche fragrances, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, and cologne, across a wide range of houses and price points. We also offer sampling through our Build Your Own Kit and Discovery Kit, plus gift cards.

Where is Parfumelle based?

Parfumelle is an online fragrance retailer shipping across the United States, with fulfilment handled from our location. You can reach us any time through our contact page.

Sampling and the Build Your Own Kit

How does the Build Your Own Kit work?

You assemble your own discovery set by choosing from our in-stock testers, and we send you decants, small vials of the genuine fragrance, to try at home before committing to a full bottle. You pick the scents, so you're only testing fragrances you're genuinely curious about. Start a kit here.

What's the difference between the Build Your Own Kit and the Discovery Kit?

The Build Your Own Kit lets you choose every scent yourself. The Discovery Kit is a ready-made, curated sampler, a good starting point if you don't yet know what you're looking for.

Is there a limit on how many luxury fragrances I can put in a kit?

Yes. There's a luxury cap on how many very high-end (around $250+) testers can go into a single kit, which keeps a discovery set affordable while still letting you try premium scents.

Why should I sample before buying a full bottle?

Because fragrance reacts with your skin chemistry and develops over hours, a scent can smell different on you than on anyone else. Sampling at home, over a full day, is the only reliable way to know if a fragrance is right for you. See our guide on testing fragrances at home.

Choosing a fragrance

How do I find my signature scent?

Start by narrowing to a scent family or two, then sample a handful of fragrances on your own skin over full days. Our Scent Finder points you to a family in about a minute, and our signature scent guide walks through the whole process.

What's the difference between EDP, EDT, and cologne?

They're different concentrations of perfume oil. Eau de parfum (EDP) is stronger and longer-lasting than eau de toilette (EDT), and cologne is lighter still. Full detail in our concentration guide.

Can you recommend a fragrance for me?

Yes, that's what our Perfume Concierge is for. Tell us what you like (or what you want to smell like) and we'll suggest scents and samples to try.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes. A Parfumelle gift card is a safe choice when you're buying for someone whose taste you're unsure of, it lets them sample and choose their own scent.

Orders, shipping, and returns

Do you ship across the United States?

Yes. We ship nationwide. For current shipping times and costs, see our shipping policy.
